1 Why do I need to supply my basic information to register to your website such as my name and street and email address including a profile picture? What is the reason you do not accept business addresses or P.O. Boxes?


We need to check for honesty. Our only way to do that is through your basic information which is not seen by members. Business addresses and P.O. Boxes are not a reliable form to corroborate someone's identity. All personal information provided is kept confidential per our Privacy Policy. We DO NOT send any type of correspondence to physical addresses without an applicant's or member's consent. Every member without exception has provided this information including their profile picture.


2 I am a Member under the Free membership, but I cannot view other members' pictures and profiles and I cannot interact with them, why do I have to pay a fee to upgrade memberships which will allow me to view pictures, profiles and communicate with other members? How much are the fees? Will you ever offer your upgrades for free?


The upgrade membership fees are necessary for four reasons. One, for us to be able to establish an added form of members' identity. For experience, we cannot afford relying on a single screening form to confirm basic profile information. We also use the identity information to conduct one more virginity background check on new applicants (we need to double check for information typical of a virgin person). Two, to add another layer of safety. If we allow anybody to become a member, then we will re-open the doors to people who are not honest to join us. We have already been there. Three, it speeds up the approval process when upgrading memberships. Last, to cover for expenses related to the verification process which is not free.


As to someday offering our membership upgrades for free, that is our goal. If we get solvent enough to be able to sustain our human and other resources, then that would be the day when our services would be provided for free. This does not mean that we would do away with the screening process which is essential to maintain a safer and a more reliable site as to the selection of our virgin members.


3 Who do I need to contact for billing questions?


Customers who pay via CCBill need go to CCBill for customer support. Paypal customers can contact PayPal . Our only condition BEFORE payments are made to avoid membership cancellations is that the first and last names as well as physical address that appear in the payment transaction of the upgrading Standard member are the same as in the profile information that we keep from the member. We will not honor third party or business name payments.


4 Do you perform background checks on new applicants?


We do conduct ID verification of all applicants and criminal checks were permitted through a third party and respecting the laws of the place of residence of the applicant in terms of criminal checks. Criminals checks are allowed in most of the United States. From time to time we also re-screen our members. We will do whatever it takes to deter convicted criminals and sex offenders from joining us or using our site. Yet, no matter what measures we take, unwelcome individuals will be always attempting to join our website or use it, so if you are a virgin waiting until marriage who intends to join us, you need to take your own precautions when you become a member just in case unwanted individuals make it through our system. We invite our members to report any suspicious individuals to us.


5 How do you know if your members are really virgins?


All applicants state they are virgins when they sign up, but that is not enough for us. We will believe them to be virgins only if we can corroborate their honesty. We do not approve applicants who provide false information about themselves. The information provided on the sign up page is not the only form to corroborate the honesty of our applicants. We also check for other personal aspects not typical of a virgin person that may question the statement of virginity using public means. The bottom line is people who are dishonest are not trustworthy. Why should we believe them to be virgins when they are dishonest about themselves?


To screen applicants we conduct profile checks and we look for those aspects that are not typical of a virgin person. For the screening process we use public information and an independent identity verification system. Thanks to our screening methods we have been able to identify a few cases of people who have been married, in previous cohabitating relationships, if they have biological children, or if they have provided false information about themselves. Again, why should we believe an applicant to be a virgin if we find out that he/she has biological children, for example.


If the above is not enough to identify those applicants that are not really virgins, we also added mandatory and specific questions on the aspect of virginity that have been helping us select virgins from non-virgins. Moreover, we have used other means in the identification process.


We feel confident enough to even invite our own family members who are virgins to join us knowing that we have a safer and more reliable website for virgin singles.


Note: Even though we have a reliable system to identify our virgin applicants, we ask our members to use due diligence just in case a dishonest applicant makes it through our system.


6 I am an upgraded member. How do I access your website via iPhone, iPad, or Android applications?


To access our We Waited website via iPhone/iPad application, please follow these steps:


1. Launch App Store from the Springboard.
2. Use the Search tab to locate the Skadate application. Enter 'Skadate' into the search field.
3. Select the application name from the list of results.
4. A user will be presented with a description of the application and screenshots.
5. Press the FREE button to obtain this application.
6. Notice the button now changes to a green INSTALL button. Press this button to install the application.
7. A popup will appear asking the user to enter their iTunes account password. Do this and then press the large OK button.
8. You will be returned to your Springboard where you will see a dimmed icon with an install status bar overlaid.
9. Once installation has finished successfully the icon will become active.
10. Press the Skadate icon to launch the application.
11. Once the application is launched, you will be prompted with a login screen.
12. Enter the username, password and the site url in the following format: www.wewaited.com
13. Once the details are validated, you will be taken to the app home page.


To access We Waited via Android application, follow these steps:


1. Launch Market from the smartphone/tablet.
2. Use the Search tab to locate the Skadate application. Enter 'Skadate' into the search field.
3. Select the application name from the list of results.
4. A user will be presented with a description of the application and screenshots.
5. Press the Download button to obtain this application.
6. Notice the button now changes to a green INSTALL button. Press this button to install the application.
7. A popup will appear displaying the permissions that application will have. Press the Accept & download button.
8. Once installation has finished successfully the icon will appear in your applications list.
9. Press the Skadate icon to launch the application.
10. Once the application is launched, you will be prompted with a login screen.
11. Enter the username, password and the site url in the following format: www.wewaited.com
12. Once the details are validated, you will be taken to the app home page.
